In April or May 1967, Gagnon produces eight serigraphs, assembled the following year in the album The Colour of Time, The Sound of Space/ La Couleur du Temps, le Son d’un espace (1967). First presented at the Galerie Godard-Lefort (Montreal) the following winter, this edition – with its “plastic qualities” (excluding however the use of pure colours) and “sequential organization” – is unique in Gagnon’s production. resource: charles gagnon
